On the Front Lines

The COVID-19 virus brought the world as we knew it to a screeching halt in 2020. Small businesses took some of the worst impacts, with many either temporarily or permanently closing their doors.

When vaccines became readily available, the Small Business Association of Michigan wanted to share information and resources about the vaccine to help others make the decision to get vaccinated against COVID-19. This video—one of several in a campaign—featured a paramedic’s perspective of the virus. As a worker on the frontlines of the pandemic, Karen has seen exactly what COVID-19 does to someone, making her endorsement of the vaccine that much more powerful.
